You’re not alone on this, which is why I offer this to busy homeowners. It’s not that you don’t necessarily know what you want, it’ more you don’t have the time to implement it.
How we design homes is also changing, clients are thinking about longevity, wellness, independence, and how their homes will support them over time. We are no longer just creating beautiful spaces, we are shaping how people live, age, heal, rest, and thrive in their homes and that is something I feel very passionate about.
Many of my clients are busy professionals, business owners, or retired women who’ve earned the home of their dreams, some have decided to downsize, they’ve had the large homes and feel they’re at a different stage in their lives but they feel stuck. They know what they like when they see it, but the idea of pulling it all together is too much. Choosing paint colours, ordering furniture, knowing what works and what doesn’t? That’s overwhelming, time-consuming and, frankly, not something they want to do.
I’ve also found a shift in delivering full service interior design, we value our time more and maybe it’s because we’ve reached a certain stage in life that we are taking time to enjoy what matters most to us, whatever that means to each individual. I’ve also noticed how some of us seek a slower pace, we want to take care of ourselves bring a sense of calm back into our lives and want our homes to reflect this, through colour and flow. Our homes are working harder than ever to give us a sense of ease when it feels like the world has gone crazy and everything feels out of our control. Does that make sense?

I offer a full interior design service for people who don’t want to figure it out on their own, it’s a not DIY service.
That’s not to say you won’t feel in control of the situation, we still talk about budgets, the investments you’re happy to make and what you value most from your home, and that is very different for everyone.
From the very first consultation, I’m listening carefully to what you like, how you live, and what’s not working in your current space. I will touch very briefly here, a design is created that’s not only beautiful and cohesive but feels completely you on your best day, without asking you to trawl through paint charts, wallpaper and fabric books or endless showroom trips. I do the legwork so you don’t have to. Now, having said that, you will have to sit on sofas or stretch out on beds to test comfort levels (this is necessary) but I will have narrowed this down for you.
You don’t need to have the answers. You don’t even need to know where to start.

When we work together, you don’t have to manage anything. I’ll create the design concept, (this is a digital moodboard along with actual samples, to make sure we are on the same page with the direction of the design), we follow the design process, I follow up with you on Friday’s with updates as we progress with the design. In short , I source every item, liaise with trades if needed, and oversee the transformation right down to those all important finishing touches. You’ll come home to a beautifully finished space (because that’s what we do best) and you enjoy your new living space for many years to come, that’s an investment.
