The Galley Restaurant
I thought I'd share with you a few amateur pics I took myself (please forgive) of the Galley Restaurant. The Brief was Luxurious but practical, homely and most of all comfortable. I think we ticked all the boxes. The colour palette used, although maybe a little cliched given it's background, a picturesque little fishing village in Annalong, was taken from the surroundings. It seemed natural to go with the watery greys and blues which marry beautifully with the warmer tones of the brickwork. Adding an infusion of copper gently brought the scheme together.A silvery grey vinyl wallcovering was used with a gentle ripple effect. Luxurious velvets mix with faux leather textured seating The original pine bench seating where given a makeover in soft greys Rich velvet fabrics where used on the backs of co-ordinating chairs with a more practical fabric on the seat area which is proving very serviceable. Tub chairs where upholstered in faux leather and wool tartan
