At Home Valentine’s Day Table Setting
If you’re spending a romantic dinner at home on Valentine’s day as I will be this year, (my husband is a great cook and his melting chocolate puddings are amazing) so I am happy to be in charge of setting a romantic table for two.
As you can see it’s pretty simple. I’ve used whatever I already have although Im very tempted to buy a few pieces (see the link below) which are really sweet but it’s not necessary at all. Arranging some beautiful roses with greenery from the garden, elegant dinner candles and some bubbles didn’t require much effort and I loved folding my napkins into roses, see how to video
I hope you enjoy.
I tend to use my crystal and nice cutlery all the time, maybe not for everyday use but certainly for Sunday dinner, celebrating birthdays, friends over for dinner or whenever I feel like dressing the table. Every day should be special.
My daughter and I had great fun creating a Valentine’s table setting and folding these little rose napkins. See how to video
H&M
I thought these place mats were really sweet and as they also come in gold you don’t have to use them just on Valentine’s day. Scalloped edge detail is huge in interiors this year, you will see it coming up in a lot of interior decor like headboard details, on chairs as well as soft furnishings.
I discovered this website and think you will love it for lots of table decorating ideas all year round as well as recipes. Check out Pizzazzerie
